Lobbyists

  Given the tax dollars Broward Health spent to hire lobbyists in Tallahassee last year, the North Broward Hospital District should provide barf bags for taxpaying residents.

           More reasons for barf bags:
    District lobbying costs have increased some 40% in the last five years.
      In FY 2005, the District spent some $600,000 to lobby other governmenal agencies.
     This year, the District will spend more than $1 million in tax dollars for lobbyist costs.
